Book A path forward Call

from good girl to queen: my journey to wholeness

If you've ever felt lost, unfulfilled, misunderstood, or just plain invisible; you're going to understand my story.

Hello, beautiful soul.

I'm Alison—mom to three amazing adopted boys (two grown, one still stealing my snacks at home), wife to my best friend of 26 years this November, analog film photographer, plant mama, knitting enthusiast, and recovering perfectionist who's learned that the path to freedom isn't always pretty, but it's always worth it.

And maybe most importantly: I'm a woman who spent the first 40+ years of her life being exactly who everyone else needed her to be.

the unraveling (or how I found my power)

Picture this: The perfectionist who made sure all the right boxes were checked. Perfect wife, devoted mother, faithful church member. I was so good at being good that I forgot there was a wild, wise woman living inside me—one who had opinions, desires, and a voice that deserved to be heard.

Then life happened. Hard.

Depression became my unwelcome companion. And during the pandemic, perimenopause collided with being high-risk, creating the perfect storm that brought me to my knees with debilitating symptoms that no doctor could explain.

Maybe you know this feeling—you just know something is wrong but nobody can tell you what and why.

That's when I discovered my symptoms were my body's way of telling me I was living a life I didn’t want. The diagnosis? Tension Myositis Syndrome. The cure? Change everything.

So I did the hardest thing I'd ever done: I unlearned the 40+ years of cultural programing, dug deep into my childhood to heal all the hurt, and I left the high demand religion that was my identity/community, risking my marriage and family to reconnect my authentic soul.

Plot twist: My marriage got stronger. My family stayed intact. And I found my power.

the woman I am today

These days, you'll find me creating beauty wherever I go—because as an Enneagram 4, I literally cannot function in ugly spaces. My home is filled with plants (my green babies that I talk to daily), yarn from knitting projects in various stages of completion, and photographs that capture the sacred in the everyday.

I shoot analog film because, like my coaching approach, it's slow, intentional, and honors the process. Each frame matters. Each moment is precious. There's no rushing the magic.

When I need to recharge, you'll find me at the beach, at a beautiful hotel (camping is not my love language), or in nature somewhere, feeling connected to something larger than myself. The woman who was afraid of her own shadow now helps other women find their light.

why I do this work

(spoiler, it’s about love)

I became a Jungian-trained women's empowerment coach because I believe in the power of wholeness—yours and mine. I specialize in feminine coaching because I know what it's like to be disconnected from your intuitive wisdom, your body, and your authentic desires.

My superpower? I can see the woman you truly are even when you can't see her yourself.

I've walked the path from people-pleasing to powerful, from invisible to seen, from surviving to thriving.

Whether you're questioning everything you've been taught, navigating a major life transition, or simply tired of living small, I get it. I've been the woman who gave her power away. I've been the woman who didn't trust her own knowing. I've been the woman who was terrified of disappointing others.

And I've also been the woman who chose herself. Who trusted her body's wisdom. Who chose an unknown path rather than submit to a life that wasn't hers.
